Help people to use our tools

We believe our tools like ERPNext can help organizations reduce waste and complexity. Frappe + ERPNext has the potential to be a “full stack” replacement for not only ERP (SAP/Oracle) but also the entire enterprise stack (Java/.NET). With this scope, we should help organizations by providing products and services to help them manage their technology platforms.

Challenges

Dalusi used QuickBooks mainly for accounting, billing and financial management. As the business grew, it took on trading, workshop operations, logistics, inventory across locations and a large fixed-asset base

  • These activities ran on separate processes, spreadsheets and manual records
  • Workshop, maintenance and service jobs, along with their costs, were tracked separately from accounting
  • Logistics teams kept their own records for deliveries, transport and stock movements
  • Fixed assets, including those rented out to customers, sat outside the accounting system, so depreciation, transfers and maintenance were hard to control
  • Purchasing had no structured workflow from request through quotation, purchase order, receipt, invoice and payment
  • The result was duplicate data entry, manual reconciliation, weak coordination between departments, and no single reliable view of the business for management

Benefits

ERPNext was implemented to bring Dalusi Trading Co. Limited's operations onto a single integrated platform

  • Quotations, sales orders, deliveries, invoices, payments, customers and suppliers are all managed in ERPNext
  • Purchasing follows a structured flow from request to supplier quotation, purchase order, receipt and invoice
  • Inventory is managed centrally across warehouses and locations, with real-time visibility into stock movements
  • Workshop, maintenance and service activities are recorded along with their costs
  • The Assets module keeps complete records of depreciation, transfers, maintenance and the full asset lifecycle, which matters most for assets Dalusi rents out
  • Operational transactions flow straight into accounting, which cuts duplicate entry and reconciliation
  • Role-based permissions and approval workflows control who can access and approve each process

Impact

Successful on-time ERPNext go-live

Increased sales order to cash

Increased inventory turnover

Dalusi moved from fragmented, manually coordinated processes to a single integrated platform

  • Business data is centralised across departments
  • Duplicate data entry is reduced
  • Operations and accounting are better connected
  • Inventory is visible in real time
  • Asset lifecycle management has improved
  • Purchasing and sales follow structured workflows
  • Workshop and maintenance activities are better controlled
  • Logistics operations are more visible
  • Management has real-time reports and dashboards
  • Role-based access and approval controls are stronger

“ERPNext has given us a single platform to manage our trading, workshop, logistics, inventory, assets, and accounting operations. We now have better control, visibility, and accuracy across the business.” — Dalusi Trading Co. Limited
